If you respond and say: that it is because it is a mythical creature that there should be no problems with its ethnic group, you could add the name of the mythical creature that Ariel represents her new ethnicity and why isn’t that cultural appropriation by the big mouse?
And the last one: why didn’t they change the characters sexuality if what they were looking for was representation and breaking stereotypes?
Why fanfiction’s writers make male characters into woman?
Why they give them a woman reproductive organs when it’s not a omegaverse?
You know that homosexuality exist?
If the fear its that you are not going to have readers or hits you don’t have to fear it. There’s plenty of people who loves ORIGINAL FEMALE CHARACTERS or MALE CHARACTERS X READER if your plot it’s good you don’t have to change the genere of the characters.
it’s the same for the readers…
why don’t you try to read something with you or with a original characters?
If you are looking to feel more in related to the characters I believe it would be more easy to do it with your same genere and sex preference, don’t you think?
I need someone to talk… I don’t know what to do, I’m tired and mad at myself.
When I was 16 (13 years ago) I meet this guy, he was my classmate and friend anyway… He was my crush, I never told him, actually I told him about almost two years ago because in my delusional imagination that way I could get over him.
It didn’t work!
I tried everything, I stopped liked his posts on social media, I stopped congratulate him on his birthday but every good damn time I see his profile I get mad and start with the “what if…” I can’t take it anymore!
Look we were very compatible and really good friends but at the time when we were close, I never told him that I was in love with him because he had a girlfriend at the time. They stayed together for a couple of years more when we were out of highschool till she cheated on him.
The part that make me mad is that when he started to try to conquer other girls he started to like the same things that I asked him to give it a chance like anime, GOT, some books, Comics and etc. He started because other people asked but he didn’t listen to me.
Then the FREAKING SINGS! when we were young he always hug me, he even joked that he need to protect himself from my jealous brothers in the future, we have a hand in hand night walk on the beach, he told my we were soulmates, we even have song about it, he kept himself single till the day I told him I didn’t like him anymore…
I understand that a lot of it was my heart and brain behind illusional. I don’t know what to do, I really want to stop, I need help.

I’ve finished read some of Aralas fics. Since most of them are spread across various websites, I wanted to make a bookmark list as well (while AO3 or FFN was easier to mark our favorite works, and beyond that it doesn’t).
Looking at the many Aralas fics whose links are deactivated or dead, so the ones I listed here’s still working (so far).
I hope for Aralas fic that has been lost on various sites like “Of Elves and Men” and “Library of Moria” can be reposted on AO3. I’m still waiting!
